Prima Kotake K-25 flute, Sankyo sister company for sale in Brooklyn, NY
Prima Kotake K-25 flute, nickel silver, this is a sister company of Sankyo (same flute makers) and it's logo is very similar to Sankyo. The flute is in great cosmetic condition, there is one small scuff shown on a picture, but it is shiny, clean, wry good looking. The case is also in good sturdy condition, purple velvet-lined. The pads are relatively new, but they have to be adjusted in order to fit properly. They have to be shimmed. As of now, the flute does not play entirely, only the left hand, because the pads are leaking, although nearly new. But the sound I can get out of it, is very beautiful, vibrant, singing, much better than cheap Chinese beginner flutes or even a student Yamaha. So if someone can fix it... I do not know when it was made. Please ask me for more photos if you would like.
