Ikea Stuva Loft Bed (w/o desk) white, for kids and teens for sale in Brooklyn, NY
Ikea Stuva Loft Bed - white, for kids and teens, used in good condition. No longer available from Ikea! Not sure why, as these were much loved. This one is in good condition. There are some marks here and there. It was assembled well, moved once and reassembled. Joints are in good condition and not stressed. The first two photos are stock and show possible desk configurations from Ikea. The next 8 photos are of the actual loft bed being sold. This listing does NOT INCLUDE the desk. If you want the desk, add $100 to your offer. Really any desk can be put under there. That desk is 54"x24", so up to that size should fit in either configuration. Mattress included! These lofts take a special mattress size that is only 4" high. If you want it without the mattress, offer me $40 less. (You can see the mattress on the Ikea website; I can't remember if it's the "Minnesund" or the "Meistervik".) Pictures included. It's in good condition. Cover zips off for cleaning. This is PICKUP ONLY. Location is Brooklyn Heights, New York. I will not ship this. I have partially disassembled it for you. The desk unscrews from the panel, so it will be an L with the drawers on one side and nothing on the other. (It doesn't have legs since it screws into the bed frame.) So, a little bulkier to transport, but the good news is you won't have to spend hours building the drawers. The ladder has been detached, but is built and all you'll have to do is reattach it. The bed frame is disassembled. The side panels come off, the wall near the desk becomes one flat wall. The frame of the bed is planks. The other side is a closet and shelves; this will be provided as one piece. Again, slightly bulky to transport, but it's already built! You won't have to build it. (See photos to see all the stuff together, ready to transport (without desk).) If you have a medium or large SUV, I think it should be no problem for you to pick it up though it may take two trips if you're also taking the desk. Though you could always do something like remove the top from the desk to split that into two pieces and fit it into your vehicle. This is located on a 3rd floor walkup. Like most Ikea stuff it's not the lightest. Should be fine for two guys. Chair, and other personal effects not included. Pictures included of the partially disassembled loft (not including the desk) so you can see what you'll fit in your vehicle. I took photos of the breakdown process that I can provide to make it easy for you to reassemble. Includes all hardware. I think I paid about $575 for this three years ago, including the mattress and desk.
