1980s Bach 36 that plays beautifully, and looks...well, let's just say it's got a great personality. I was the second owner of this horn and have played it for over 30 years. I just don't play horns this size anymore. The previous owner removed the lacquer on the bell section, and the rest of the horn's exterior just shows it age.Recently serviced by Landress Brass here in NYC to get it in good shape. I'd say the slide and rotor are 7 out of 10. No pitting and totally playable, with a much better build quality than the 90s/00s Bach components in my experience. Great EQ, only problem is that it's been sitting around too long. Purchased it for a backup. However my back is out, so I stopped a long time ago. Also the perfect eq for a musicians home stereo. Lost boxes and manuals a long time ago, sure the manual can be downloaded or ordered from the company....
