Elementary Math and Reading/Writing Expert Teacher/ Tutor Available in Brooklyn, NY

1 of 1

Hi there! My name is Lila and I'm a 6th year teacher here in New York City. I have a special education Bachelor's degree and a Masters degree in Literacy, Curriculum and Instruction. I am currently and K-3 Learning Specialist at a Charter School in Brooklyn.

I am certified to teach Special Education (Math and ELA) and Literacy from birth to 6th grade. I'm highly qualified and have taught in both the classroom and in a resource room as a Learning Specialist, targeting specific individuals and their growth toward their goals. I have been a tutor for more than 2 years and have had great results and high recommendations from parents and other teachers. I have taught varying curriculums at different settings across several boroughs of NYC. I am confident that I would be able to not only work with your child to support their growth in reading, writing, and or math, but also add joy and confidence to their feelings around learning as well.

Because of my high level of experience and proven track record, I am asking for clients to meet at my location which is a business center in my building in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Please contact me if this interests you or if you have a location that would be very close to that area. I am also willing to prepare and provide all needed materials for sessions, complete with assessments and lesson plans. Rate can be discussed once we connect.

Please contact me if this seems like the right match for you. I am looking forward to discussing your child and ways to support them on the road to success!

Don't Be Fooled

  • When selling, do not put your home address in your ad.
  • To avoid scams, buy and sell with people you can meet locally, in person.
  • When meeting with someone you don't know, meet in a public place. If that's not possible, have a buddy with you. Also, carry a cell phone; if you feel unsafe, you can call a trusted friend, and stay on the line.
  • Never give out financial or private information like account numbers, PayPal login, or social security number.
  • If an offer sounds too good to be true, it is. Walk away!
