Technical Support Technician

Kforce has a client in search of a Technical Support Technician in Brooklyn, New York (NY).

This role will require a reliable car to travel between client locations.

They will need to work On Call rotation and willing to work overtime when required.
Responsibilities:
Candidate must maintain good customer focus meeting deadlines and service level agreements (SLA's) Technician will travel to each client's location Maintains, analyzes, troubleshoots, and repairs Desktop, Laptop, Server and Printer Works under general supervision Will perform Printer support including hardware break fix, IMAC, and project work Equipment covered includes Xerox, HP, Dell and Lexmark Printers Work will be warranty work replacing component parts such as main boards, printheads, laser units, and gear assy on Xerox printers mainly Will receive training on POS training among other training to cover our clients REQUIREMENTS:
2 years plus with customer service experience 1 years plus supporting printers or MFD's (multi-function devices), including software and break fix Technician will travel to each client's location using their car to travel between client location; Reimbursed for mileage traveled between clients Able to work weekends, staggered or late shifts possibly including evenings and/or weekends Need to be very personable as they will be interacting with a wide range of users and environments Can work on a ladder of lift and are able to lift up to 50 pounds Basic Needs/Haves:
Ability to manage priorities Basic understanding of networks Possess a valid driver's license Smartphone with teethering/hot spot capabilities (Reimbursed within Corporate Guidelines) Laptop Basic Hand Tools Preferred, not required:
CompTIA A

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
