Kforce has a client in search of a Business Analyst in Brooklyn, New York (NY).
About the Position:
The position is for an experienced Technical Business Analyst within the financial industry.
As a Technical Business Analyst, you serve as a liaison between the subject matter expert and application development.
In this role you will be responsible for analyzing business requirements, functional requirements and working with application developers to deconstruct current-state system logic.
Based on this analysis, you will be responsible for grooming technical stories/specifications to support our DWM Online Trading work-stream.
As part of this work-stream, you may work on multiple projects at the same time that may be in different phases of the SDLC, and you will work with a cross-functional (Application Development, Quality Assurance, Scrum Master, Product Owner, Architecture/Design Authority, etc.
) and cross-LOB team (Digital Technology, Wealth Management Technology, Operations, etc.
).
Key Responsibilities As a Technical Business Analyst for the DWM Online Trading team additional responsibilities will include:
Analyzes business requirements to understand the business needs and to determine how systems and applications can best functionally fulfill those needs Combines knowledge of what the business wants with knowledge of how current-state system logic/design to groom technical stories/specifications for the target-state system Serve as the primary liaison between the Business, Architecture, Development and Testing teams throughout the project life cycle Strategizes with the business for the optimization of system processes; Identify efficiencies and ways to improve BAU design and system flow Identifies, assesses, and documents business requirements and functional/technical specifications; recommending business priorities, and advising business on options, risks, and costs REQUIREMENTS:

years of experience in information technology with an emphasis on Technical Business Systems Analysis Prior experience in financial/banking institutions (preferably in Wealth Management) with strong markets and trading system knowledge a must Option and Margin trading knowledge a plus Demonstrated ability with gathering and analyzing Business and Data Requirements across multiple applications and technologies throughout the full SDLC of projects Self-starter who with a proven track record in analytical thinking, problem solving and communication and experience in dealing with both senior executives and their teams Style that promotes a culture of collaboration and teamwork Strong written and verbal communication skills combined with solid project management ability Ability to manage to tight deadlines with a mind-set for flexibility Advanced knowledge of collaboration tools like Confluence, JIRA, and Blueprint Experience in the Agile Scrum methodology Experience/understanding of business process reengineering and business modeling concepts, business systems development and analysis Can you picture yourself working for one of -America's Ideal Employers-? Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
