The Manager, Accounts Payable (AP) & Accounts Receivable (AR) is responsible for ensuring timely and efficient payment of vendor invoices and collection/application of customer cash receipts. On a day to day basis, this role will supervise the AP/AR functions and work directly with outside vendors, collection agencies, customers and repair center personnel to resolve and support timely and efficient cash receipts and cash payments. Additionally, this role will be responsible for ensuring policies, procedures and internal controls surrounding vendor set-up, accounts receivable and accounts payable processes are adequately designed, implemented and followed.



  • Oversees AP/AR team of 15
    employees and provides work direction ensuring transactions are processed accurately, timely and efficiently

  • Ensures the team adheres to quality standards, deadlines, proper procedures and the timely correction of errors

  • Ensures prompt responses to unpaid invoices and unauthorized charge backs directly with customers and/or vendors

  • Ensures accurate set-up and maintenance of customer and vendor accounts, including W-9's and annual 1099 processing

  • Provides excellent customer service to all field locations and maintains positive relationships with outside vendors

  • Recommends and implements operational and process improvements, both automated and manual, automating and streamlining processes whenever possible and maintaining a constant focus on continuous improvement

  • Oversees selection and training of employees for the AP/AR teams and provides employees with relevant, actionable and timely feedback

  • Performs other duties as assigned



  • Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred

  • 7
    years of relevant experience required with proven ability to manage A/R and A/P processes

  • Strong team-building and problem solving skills

  • Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills; experience interacting with all levels of an organization

  • Knowledge of Lawson financial software preferred; proficient with MS Office Suite

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
