Customer Service Representative
Looking for a reliable, team-oriented, customer service professional with strong attention to detail. You need to be a good listener, self motivated, calm under pressure and willing to adapt to change and to learn new things in separate areas of our business. We want an up-beat person with a positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities:
o Provide exceptional customer service - create well-written, friendly emails which address all of our customers' questions and concerns.
o Check stock for customers by phone and email.
o Quote customers pricing and freight costs by phone and by email.
o Process orders in accounting software. Fax/email order releases to warehouses.
o Fax/email order confirmations to customers.
o Expedite and track orders with trucking companies.
o Must be willing to help with physical functions such as carry boxes, sweep sidewalk, pack and ship last minute store orders; whatever is needed.
Skills
o Must have excellent communication skills (phone and email) with proficient grammar and spelling.
o Must have strong skills in MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
o Must learn and become proficient with Sage accounting software program.
o Knowledge of social media is a plus.
