As Front End Engineer, you are comfortable working across a range of web technologies and have solid knowledge of JavaScript, HTML and CSS. You are passionate about working with modern development and testing methodologies such as Agile development and TDD/BDD. You will use front end technologies including JavaScript frameworks like ExtJS or Sencha Touch to implement high profile, device agnostic, rich interfaces for our clients all over the world. This job can be done from a remote location, however it needs a full-time commitment.
Required
Experience:
Strong knowledge of JavaScript - the basis for all ExtJS, SenchaTouch, jQuery, Angular, etc.
Current experience of developing web applications with ExtJS
Strong understanding of Web architecture and technologies
Experience as a professional programmer in a collaborative team environment using modern tools (Git or Subversion, issue trackingtools, document collaboration systems, and other tools used by distributed teams)
A solid grasp of algorithms, performance tradeoffs, and object oriented programming
Nice to have - to really stand out:
Knowledge of server side processes and development
Broad skills in multiple programming languages, development environments, and software frameworks
A GitHub account or other portfolio site showcasing your software development skills
Participated in open source development efforts
Be skilled in advanced software development techniques, such as test-driven development, continuous deployment / DevOps, agile software development, or automated functional testing
Be the author of published articles in the field or have presented at meetups and conferences
