Hospitals/South Brooklyn Health located in Southern Brooklyn, accommodates more than 250,000 outpatient visits, more than 89,000 emergency room visits, and with 371 beds, more than 15,000 inpatient admissions annually. The hospital maintains a strong academic affiliation with SUNY Downstate Medical Center and New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in order to maintain its high standards of healthcare delivery.
Responsibilities
Our Department is currently comprised of 15 staff Anesthesiologists. We practice an expanded Anesthesia Care model, taking a leadership role in navigating perioperative process, in close friendly collaboration with surgeons and nursing staff. Our Department is armed with all required modern equipment for the safest practice of Anesthesia, including Video-Laryngoscopy, 2 SonoSite Ultrasound Machines for Vascular Cannulation and Regional Anesthesia, 2 Ambu FOB Systems with disposal scopes used in Thoracic Anesthesia and Difficult Airway management, FloTrack System for intraoperative hemodynamic management, AccuView vein finding system, etc. The Department of Anesthesiology is a great group of purpose-driven collaborators and friends, supporting each other and contributing to making South Brooklyn Health a premier surgical center in Brooklyn.
This position commands an above-market competitive salary, with high overall earning potential by way of overtime and call. We are looking for a Board Certified Anesthesiologist with strong work ethics, team spirit and dynamic personality. Skill in Ultrasound Guided Regional Anesthesia is a plus! New Graduates are welcome, with mandatory Board Certification within 5 years.

Annual Base Salary Range:
$390,000 (board eligible) - $400,000 (board certified)
