Seeking a dedicated and experienced IT Product Manager to lead and oversee IT projects within an extensive public school system.
As the Product Manager, you will report to the Chief Product Officer and will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful implementation and maintenance of various IT products solutions that support the educational goals and operational efficiency of the school system.
Key
Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Management:
Ensure the development and execution of project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are achieved.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Establish strong relationships with key stakeholders, including school administrators, teachers, IT staff, and vendors.
Act as a liaison between end-user stakeholders and IT delivery and support teams to ensure clear communication and alignment of objectives.
Escalate issues effectively.
Product Implementation:
Provide oversight in the implementation of IT systems supporting the school system.
Ensure that projects adhere to quality standards and are completed on time and within budget and escalate accordingly.
Ensure teams are adhering to industry standards in project management and software development.
Feedback and Improvement:
Gather feedback from stakeholders and end-users to identify areas for improvement and enhancements in processes and systems.
Collaborate with product development teams to drive product enhancements and updates.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.
g.
, IT, Education, Business).
Proven experience in IT project management.
Experience managing large portfolios of projects in large complex environments.
Extensive experience managing relationships with IT technology teams and business stakeholders.
Prior experience as a Product Manager.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Knowledge of educational technology trends and best practices is a plus.
