Who we are looking for:
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Speech Language Pathologist or SLP CFY to provide home-based treatment services to individuals 0-3 years and 3- 99 yrs old with communication and/or swallowing disorders.
The SLP will travel to the homes of children and families throughout selected areas.
Responsibilities:
- The Speech Pathologist will develop and implement customized treatment plans to address client needs - Provide education and counseling to clients and families regarding communication and swallowing strategies - Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in adherence with regulatory requirements - Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination - Participate in ongoing education and professional development opportunities
Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology - Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) - Active New York State Speech-Language Pathology license - Preferred 1-2 years of experience working with clients of all ages in a home health or community setting - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule - Access to reliable transportation and a valid driver's license#INDH Recommended Skills Care Coordination Clinical Works Interpersonal Skills Pathology Professional Development Regulatory Requirements Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
