Hospitals/Kings County, located in the heart of Brooklyn, accommodate more than 518,076 outpatient visits, more than 141,328 emergency room visits, and with 627 beds, more than 25,000 inpatient admissions annually.
The hospital maintains a strong academic affiliation with SUNY Downstate Medical Center in order to maintain its high standards of healthcare delivery.
Kings County is located in the East Flatbush/Prospect-Lefferts section of Brooklyn, close to the 2 and 5 subways.
Our patients are diverse, with the majority being afro-Caribbean.
Most of our patients are native English speakers.
Knowledge of French/Haitian Creole is helpful, but not required.
Responsibilities:
Provide outpatient and inpatient consultations for patients with digestive and liver disease Perform diagnostic and therapeutic Upper Endoscopy, Colonoscopy and/or Push Enteroscopy (with or without biopsies, polypectomy, control of bleeding, ligation of varices, removal of foreign bodies, dilation, stenting, etc.
) for outpatient and inpatient Preform screening colonoscopies Preform and interpret capsule endoscopy procedures Supervise and mentor gastroenterology fellows and medicine residents assigned to the gastroenterology service Perform administrative duties including the daily attending schedule Participate in the weekend and evening call coverage for gastroenterology services at H+H Kings County and SUNY Downstate Medical Center Academic appointment at SUNY Downstate Medical Center
Qualifications:
Current licensed NY State registration (or the ability to obtain one) Board Certified/Board Eligible in Gastroenterology Graduate from approved Medical School Please note that proof of full COVID-19 vaccination is required prior to hire Benefits include:

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
