Work under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist to assist with treatment programs Record treatment in medical records Communicate with interdisciplinary team members regarding resident progress, problems, and plans Record daily treatments and labor according to facility procedure Instruct families and staff in maintenance or home exercise programs Coordinate with inter-departmental personnel Qualifications Degree from an American Occupational Therapy Association Accredited School of Occupational Therapy Active New York State licensure Proficiency with computer platforms and applications Ability to multitask Strong attention to detail Desired skillsPrevious experience in post-acute/long-term care Recommended Skills Attention To Detail Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant Computing Platforms Long Term Care Maintenance Medical Records Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
