Responsibilities for the Install Plumber:
Perform installations of various plumbing systems and components in residential and commercial settings.
This includes but is not limited to water supply lines, drainage systems, fixtures, water heaters, and other plumbing appliances.
Interpret and follow blueprints and project specifications to ensure accurate and precise installations.
Cut, thread, and bend pipes to required angles and sizes using various tools and equipment.
Skillfully solder and weld pipes and fittings as needed.
Install sinks, faucets, toilets, showers, bathtubs, water heaters, and other plumbing fixtures and appliances.
Conduct tests to ensure proper functioning of installed plumbing systems.
Perform inspections to identify any potential issues and address them promptly.
Diagnose and resolve plumbing issues, including leaks, clogs, and malfunctions in existing plumbing systems.
Ensure that all installations meet plumbing codes, regulations, and safety standards.
Effectively communicate with customers, team members, and supervisors to provide updates on projects and address any concerns.
Properly maintain and care for tools, equipment, and company vehicles.
Provide excellent customer service, addressing customer questions and concerns professionally and respectfully.
Requirements for the Install Plumber:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in plumbing installations in residential and/or commercial settings.
NYC Full Gas Certification Required Proficiency in pipe fitting, soldering, welding, and using plumbing tools and equipment.
Strong understanding of plumbing codes, regulations, and safety practices.
Ability to lift heavy objects, work in confined spaces, and perform physically demanding tasks.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot plumbing issues effectively.
Clear and effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Strong time management skills to complete projects within established deadlines.
Dependable, punctual, and committed to delivering quality work.
Ability to work collaboratively with other team members to achieve common goals.
