Job Description:
Van Driver and Hispanic Food Vendor Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Van Driver who will also serve as a Hispanic Food Vendor at local street festivals and parades.
The Van Driver will be responsible for safely transporting a team of 3-4 employees, along with food supplies and equipment, from our facility to various festival locations.
In addition to driving, the Van Driver will assist with setting up the food vendor spot and serving customers.
Responsibilities:
Van Transportation:
Safely operate a van from our facility to street festival locations, adhering to traffic rules and regulations.
Load and unload the van with food supplies, equipment, and other necessary items for the event.
With 4 other people which will be done in less then 30 minutes Ensure the van is properly maintained, including regular check-ups, fueling, and cleanliness.
Drive for approximately 1-2 hours per day, depending on the festival location and schedule.
Food Vendor Setup:
Assist in setting up the Hispanic food vendor spot at street festivals or parades.
Collaborate with the team to arrange tables, equipment, signage, and display areas.
Help in organizing the food supplies, ensuring proper storage and accessibility.
Follow food safety guidelines and maintain a clean and sanitary workspace.
Food Service and Customer Interaction:
Prepare and serve Hispanic food items to customers, adhering to established recipes and quality standards.
You dont need experience we will teach you how to Provide excellent customer service, answering questions, taking orders, and handling transactions.
Ensure food is properly presented, maintaining cleanliness and freshness.

Team Coordination:
Work closely with the team of 3-4 employees to ensure smooth operations and efficient service.
Collaborate with colleagues during setup, food preparation, and customer service activities.
Maintain clear communication and follow instructions provided by the supervisor or team lead.
these hours vary depending on when the festival finishes but are all saturday and sunday mostly and may have opportunity for weekdays Requirements:
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Proven experience as a responsible and skilled driver, particularly with van driving.
Excellent driving skills and knowledge of local traffic rules and regulations.
Ability to handle a team of 5-6 employee passengers during transportation.
Basic knowledge of food handling and preparation procedures is preferred.
but not required we can teach you Strong customer service skills and the ability to work well in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
perferred Physical stamina to load and unload supplies and stand for extended periods.
Flexibility to work weekends or maybe weekdays depending on festivals Note:
While experience as a driver is crucial, we are willing to train the right candidate in food preparation and vendor operations.
However, prior experience in van driving is an essential requirement for this position.
