bathing, toileting, hygiene, grooming, banking, feeding, shopping and accessing the community among other things.
Responsibilities, include but are not limited to:
Must read and write simple sentences in order to read, comprehend and write in communication logs, monthly reports, medical reports, memos, etc.
Follow verbal and written instructions.
Support residents in providing direct care and personal development of each person assigned.
Interactions and supports are to be carried out in a manner that creates a homelike atmosphere.
Must foster learning, dignity and respect.
Prepare meals and/or assist residents with meal preparation.
Attend appointments related to the Individuals we serve and give / receive accurate information and pass this information on to all necessary parties.

Help clients maintain their household by assisting with laundry, budgeting, cleaning and shopping.
May be offered opportunity to take special training classes such as:
AMAP (medication administration), CPR and SCIP-R.
