Pibly Residential Programs, Inc.
is seeking a Part-Time Maintenance Worker for our scatter-site housing program.
Pibly Residential Programs is a non-profit organization that provides housing for adults living with mental illness in the community.
Job responsibilities of the Part-Time Maintenance Worker include:
-Complete basic apartment repairs, including but not limited to:
light plumbing, light electrical work, removing and changing door locks and small household repairs such as changing light bulbs, installing smoke detectors and maintaining batteries, installing blinds, hanging items/shelves on walls, install window-gates and assembling/disassembling furniture.
-Installing and removing Air Conditioner units and brackets for all clients on a seasonal basis.
-Makes management- approved purchases of supplies, equipment, and tools.
-Maintains inventory of equipment, tools and supplies.
-Assists with receiving delivery of household items and organizing storage of these items (televisions, microwaves, air conditioner units, etc).
-Assists with minor repairs around the Office Building and removal of office garbage on a weekly basis.
-Ability to communicate with client's Case Manager as well as Building Super/Management as needed.
-Must be willing to travel throughout Brooklyn.
Possession of valid NYS Driver's License and car a must.
-Weekend availability a must.
Looking to fulfill a Thursday to Sunday schedule or Saturday to Tuesday.
