6 Quick Apply Full-time 2 hours ago Full Job Description Brooklyn, NY New York Cancer and Blood Specialists (NYCBS), a prominent and respected Oncology/Hematology group, is seeking a Facilities Associate join a well-established and growing pure sub-specialty practice with academic affiliation.
Clinics from Southampton to NYC.
Practice manages a freestanding outpatient 7-day per week Cancer Center with extensive chemotherapy administration, Radiation Oncology, Pharmacy and Research department.
In this role you will:
Be responsible for the management involving all NYCBS locations, including interaction with outside contractors concerning building construction, HVAC, and any other related matters.
Obtain documents/quotes/bids for building maintenance/construction.
Evaluate proposals for specification compliance and make recommendation of award.
Supervise maintenance contracts including:
determining workload and delegating assignments.
Review and/or inspect work of outside vendors for quality, accuracy, and completeness.
Ensure compliance of all NYCBS locations with applicable federal, OSHA and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines, etc.
Develop appropriate safety and/or service plans to alleviate risk, provide protection, etc.
for occupants of all NYCBS locations.
Monitor and evaluate operations, programs, processes and/or practices for quality and effectiveness; make recommendations for improvement.
Ensure that snow removal from the outside vendor is adequate at all NYCBS locations.
Oversee the maintenance of the landscaping.
Perform repairs in and outside of the all NYCBS locations.
Perform other duties as assigned.
We require:
At least 1 year of experience managing facilities.
A High School Diploma.
Proficiency in Word/Excel.
Bi/Lingual, English/Spanish a plus.
Good interpersonal communication skills.
Hours:
Monday-Friday Salary up to $30/hr Benefits including Tuition Reimbursement, Health Insurance on day 1 of employment, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short and Long term disability, 401k Plan, generous PTO time, 8 paid holidays (2 floating) and more.
