JOB SUMMARY Interboro Spirits and Ales' Distribution Sales Manager role handles our relationships with distributors, and key account base in distributed areas, with solid process-oriented organizational skills, along with a team-oriented mindset to grow our business to the next level.
Working with the Head of Product, This staff member upholds the highest standards of quality, accuracy and collaborative approach.
Duties include collaboratively setting sales objectives, policies and initiatives, with short- and long-term strategies for reaching sales objectives and evaluating the effectiveness of the distributor sales program.
Familiarity with practices, concepts and procedures in sales is required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Manage the distribution network relationships, orders and product flow Act as the liaison between distributor contacts and Interboro.
Make sales calls/visits to distribution markets outside of NYC on a regular basis.
Communicate product information and availability to distributors Process all distribution sales orders and coordinate orders with operations department.
Track sales against goals using both internal and external reporting systems and compile written reports as needed to demonstrate results Create presentations, business reviews, new item submission, and price promotions and new market introductions as needed Maintain data in internal customer database.
Provide 5-star service to clients visiting the brewery including tours as needed Stay abreast of current legislation and trends within the industry and communicate relevant information to director.
Participate in continuous education related to the role such as customer service and sales/distribution, and the craft beer industry.
Assist in resolving customer and distributor issues and ensure customer satisfaction while maintaining the integrity of the Company.
Represent Company by attending and/or pouring at special events such as samplings, tastings, beer dinners, and beer festivals.
Follow all Company safety procedures, policies, and SOPs.

? Top-notch time management, planning and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks ? ? Experience or education in marketing/promotions is preferred.

Excellent analytical and problem solving skills, with advanced computer skills with Excel, Word, and Google Docs/Spreadsheets ? Ability to adapt quickly and gracefully to the changes and challenges of a fast growing company.
? Ability to travel at least 50% of worktime in market, covering all markets, including overnight ? Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays to represent the company at events as needed ? Solid knowledge of beer styles and passion for the craft beer and spirits industry ? Must be at least 21 years of age ? Minimum 2 years of experience in a sales position and/or in wholesaler management ? Business, Communications, or Marketing degree; or equivalent combination of experience and education is required.
? BJCP Certification or Cicerone Certification preferred (or must be willing to take a course).
