As a grounds keeper, you will be responsible for performing routine manual tasks in maintaining the appearance and condition of the grounds, walkways and garage of the hospital. Tasks may require medium to heavy physical effort. Specific tasks involve raking, sweeping, shoveling and removing by hand debris, leaves, branches; removal of snow and ice, etc. You must be able to operate a Toro riding mower, snow blower, skid steer, snow plow equipped truck with a salter, push mowers, weed whackers, backpack blowers, front end loaders, chainsaws etc.
Job Function

Salary Range:
From $33157 to $41018 Annually
Minimum Qualification
Candidate must be physically able to perform the duties of the position and must be able to communicate effectively to obtain and convey information. When required to operate a motor vehicle, applicants must possess a valid New York State driver's license appropriate for the type of vehicle to be operated.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
