Audience Development Manager

At mindbodygreen we are deeply committed to providing accurate, accessible, and up-to-date information. We are looking for a talented Part-Time Audience Development Manager to join the team. This position has the opportunity to grow to a full-time role. The individual will be responsible for developing and implementing a content distribution strategy that grows the reach of mindbodygreen. The primary focus of this role will be growing traffic from a health interested audience on key platforms such as Apple News, SmartNews, Google News, and Flipboard. There's a secondary focus on newsletters, other networks, and partnerships to grow the overall reach and amplification of the brand. The audience development manager will use analytics, research, and insights to drive both traffic growth to the mindbodygreen main site, as well as our consumer products site. We are interested in targeted traffic of health-interested consumers, and not just traffic for traffic's sake. The ideal candidate understands how to build relationships with decision makers at key platforms and also how to influence the mindbodygreen content team through data and insights to hit the company's goals. Responsibilities:
Build and nurture relationships with key referral platforms such as Apple News, SmartNews, Google News, and Flipboard, to understand their content needs and ensure that mindbodygreen is optimizing content for platform performance Analyze referral platform performance, sharing key insights with the internal team to grow both topline traffic, as well as a health forward funnel for our branded products Make recommendations to content team on ways we can optimize content and headlines for referral performance Requirements:
At least three years of audience development experience at a media company / publisher Ideal candidate has previous experience pitching content to referral platforms A self-starter with a meticulous attention to detail A passion for the mindbodygreen values of mental, physical, spiritual, emotional and environmental well-being
Salary Range:
$80K
Minimum Qualification
Communications & PREstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
