Property Manager 2 - Brooklyn
STANDARD DUTIES:
As a Property Manager 2, the incumbent will independently perform the full range of property management duties for Department of Labor properties in the New York City and Long Island area, as well as other state-wide projects. The incumbent will make space requirement determinations, plan office designs using AutoCAD, and prepare budgets, cost verifications and lease activities. The incumbent will also be responsible for project and contract management, construction oversight and management, generating draft leases and tracking special projects statewide. Frequent overnight travel, which may entail multiple night stays due to ongoing operational demands, as well as travel to other locations statewide will be required. Long distance supervision and training of subordinate DOL and contract staff may be required.

Qualifications:
One year of permanent, contingent-permanent, or 55b/c service as a Real Estate Specialist 2, Grade 23. PROVISIONAL
Qualifications:
One year of permanent, contingent-permanent, or 55b/c service as a Property Manager 1, Grade 18, OR Seven years of experience renting, leasing, or managing business properties on a large scale. A bachelor's degree may substitute for four years of the experience. The appointed candidate would have to take, pass and be reachable on the next holding of the examination to be appointed permanently. PREFERRED

Ability to initiate and maintain relationships across a diverse set of stakeholdersEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
