Position Description
AHRC New York City is currently seeking a Literacy Program Coordinator/Staff Trainer for each of our Brooklyn School Age programs for students with autism.

AHRC Middle High School
- Coordinate, implement and evaluate literacy programming at elementary and middle/high schools, incorporating current theory, research and practice and selecting textbooks and other applicable resource materials.
- Assess needs and abilities of students in order to establish individualized literacy-based programming based on assessment analysis, as well as provide direct instruction to designated
- Assist in developing and reviewing long-range and short-term goals for schools reading programs.
- Serve as critical resource to teaching staff in area of literacy and assist staff, by recommendation and/or demonstration/role modeling, in adopting effective instructional reading strategies and techniques.
- Assist in planning, coordinating and delivering staff development programs.

Position Requirements
- Bachelors or Masters in Special Education or related educational discipline required, with NYS Certification highly preferred.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in providing staff training in an educational setting, with particular expertise in literacy curricula.
- Specialized knowledge of developmental disabilities and applicable educational intervention techniques needed.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
