JPMorgan Chase & Co. has an opening for a Lead Developer position in Brooklyn, New York. Program and support applications for Securitized Product Group. Program in SQL (Oracle, SQL Server, Access), Perl Scripting, DOS Scripting, RDBMS, Object Oriented Programming. Support mortgage related applications in Global Securitized Product domain and their interfaces to other upstream and downstream systems. Use knowledge of mortgage data to fetch data using SSIS from different origination channels and provide proof of concept to the trader to use the best data for securitization. Perform full independent end-to-end software development life cycle from design, implementation, testing, deployment and post go live support. Perform business analysis and interact with the business users including traders, middle office and financial controllers to gather information about new development activity. Work with senior management to understand the priorities of the bank and group. Suggest ways of improving existing processes and implement solutions to enhance the performance of new processes. Less than 50% travel required to various, unanticipated sites in U.S. Specific Requirements Employer will accept Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, followed by five years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience in job offered or five years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience in a software engineering-related occupation. Experience must include: 1. minimum 5 years database programming (Oracle, SQL Server, and Access); 2. scripting using Perl, DOS/Unix, and VB; 3. proficiency using mortgage data information to develop financial software solutions with Object Oriented Concepts and design patterns; 4. minimum 5 years work experience leading integration projects following the full software development life cycle (Requirement Gathering, Analysis, Design, Implementation and Testing); and 5. applying knowledge of financial products (Securities, hedges, etc.) to produce financial software solutions. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
