POSITION: Instructional Staff

LOCATION; Bushwick, Brooklyn (in a DOE school)
HOURS: 8:40-4:45 Monday, Tuesday, Thursday Friday
7:30-3:30 Wednesday
all teachers are required to work office hours for 45 minutes every day, but have the option to do them before or after school
PAY: $55k (first year teacher) - this goes up each year tends to be about 5% more than the DOE scale
DESCRIPTION:
A new, small charter High School is going on to their 2nd year and is actively recruiting more staff to ensure they are set for the 120 new students that will be starting in August of 2014.
This school is recruiting a number of instructional staff members that have an extreme passion for working in the classroom. Since culture is a huge part of this small, tightknit staff, personality and overall winning demeanor is required for this role.

NY State Certification is NOT required, but preferred
