The distributed systems engineering team is aggregating dozens of data sources into a big data repository. This will enable us to correlate many data points that had historically been locked away in disparate system. Currently analysts interested in the data spend hours retrieving and analyzing this data. By building Splunk Dashboards and Reports we hope to provide transparency.
We are searching for a motivated developer to building Splunk dashboards. The engineer should be passionate about solving problems, with an interest in data science.
Qualifications
Required Experience and Skills:
o 1
years of Splunk experience.
o Experience turning research ideas into actionable designs.
o 1
years of Proficiency with Unix and databases, as well as working knowledge of PERL or Python.
o Experience working with large, unfiltered data sets.
o Strong verbal and written communication skills as well as presentation skills.
Desired Skills:
Advanced degree in a relevant field is desirable.
Develop and document prototypes to simulate the behavior of a new technique
Design and monitor tools to measure a particular problem or the contribution of a particular technique over time
Work closely with a cross functional team to design new features and resolve issues as they ariseEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
